Board of Controllers

The Board of Controllers (BOC) is chaired by the Vice President for Club Relations, who is elected by the student body. The BOC is comprised of four to six additional students. The BOC is responsible for allocating the student activity fee per semester to all clubs and organizations.

Each Club and Organization will submit a budget proposal at the conclusion of each semester. The BOC will then review the proposal while determining if each club is in “good” standing with the Office of Student Activities, Leadership, and Commuter Life. BOC will then recommend to the Office a budget for each club and organization.

Starting a New Club
BOC is also in charge of the process for new clubs and organizations. If a student is interested in a new club, they must email BOC with their proposed club. BOC will then review the proposal and work with the Senate on ratifying the club. Learn more about starting a new club.
