- Official transcripts are necessary for the following:
- To be awarded final credits for courses in progress at the time of application
- To remain enrolled in classes

- Should official transcripts not be received by the end of the add/drop period, students will be removed from classes and will be liable to pay in full for educational services rendered

**All undergraduate students are required to submit a copy of their high school transcript regardless of credits earned or Associate’s Degree earned. We highly encourage you to request transcripts be sent to your home address, and not directly to CMSV, from the Registrar’s Office of the schools you have previously attended. Once received, transcripts may be opened and uploaded to your portal on your own. This is the easiest way to send your transcripts.
TEAS and HESI
Both the TEAS and the HESI exams are comprehensive assessments for students seeking entry into a competitive Nursing program.
TEAS—170 multiple choice questions in English, language, math, reading, and science subject areas completed in a three-hour time period. Exams are taken online at a registered TEAS site. You will be notified of your TEAS score immediately upon completion if taken online. If taken by paper-pencil, scores are distributed up to 48 hours after completion. Scores range from 0% to 100%, with a passing average of 65% to be admitted to the Mount’s program.
HESI—297 multiple choice questions in eight subject areas, completed in a five and a half hour time period. Scores range from 0% to 100%, with a passing average of 75% to be admitted to the Mount’s program. The Personality and Style sections are not required. You will be notified of your HESI score immediately upon completion.
For each exam, students must create a student account to search and register for an exam, sign up for test prep or purchase test prep materials, and obtain score results electronically. Score results can be downloaded from a student’s TEAS or HESI account and uploaded directly to their Student Portal in a .pdf format.
When registering for an exam, students are required to list a “department code” for the test site where they will take the respective exam. Reminder: CMSV is note a test site and therefore will not have a department code.
