Class Attendance
Students are required to attend all classroom, laboratory, and experiential learning clinical sessions. Students are expected to arrive at classes on time. Individual instructor variations must be written on course syllabi.
Course registration will be canceled if a student does not appear in class during the first week of the semester. However, charges will still accrue until official, written notification of withdrawal is received by the College.
It is the responsibility of the student to make up work if absent from class. Therefore, assignments are due on the designated days unless extension is granted by the instructor. Exception to these rules may be made for reasons of serious illness or unusual conditions beyond the control of the student. In such cases the student or his/her designee, must notify the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Assistant Dean for Academic Advisement immediately. Instructors may then permit students to make up class tests missed during reported absences.
