Podiatric Medicine (B.S./D.P.M.)

Cooperative Program with the New York College of Podiatric Medicine

The College of Mount Saint Vincent and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) sponsor a joint articulation program in podiatric education.

Requirements

Interested students must apply early in the fall semester of junior year and must take the MCAT in April of their junior year. An index of 3.2 at Mount Saint Vincent and an acceptable MCAT score are required. The curriculum of the combined B.S./D.P.M. program requires the completion of at least 98 credits at Mount Saint Vincent.

B.S./D.P.M. Degree
Upon successful completion of the first two years of study at NYCPM, the B.S. degree will be awarded by the College of Mount Saint Vincent.

The Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree will be awarded upon completion of the seventh year of study at NYCPM. The NYCPM Admissions Office takes the final decision regarding admission to the program.
