To maintain a safe and comfortable working environment and to ensure compliance with applicable laws, smoking in all College buildings is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited in College owed vehicles. Smoking on campus is permitted only in designated smoking shelters. Because the College may be subject to criminal and civil penalties for violations of applicable smoking laws, we must insist on strict adherence to this policy.
Please contact the Human Resources Department if you have any questions about the College’s smoking policy. Complaints about violations of this policy should be addressed with the College’s Human Resources Department, Administration Building. No employee will be retaliated against for attempting to enforce this policy.
