Orientation Checklist

Now that you’re an accepted student at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, we’ve put together a quick to-do list:

• Submit your transcript to the Office of Admission
  • Transcripts can be sent via mail from your high school directly to the Office of Admission, College of Mount Saint Vincent, 6301 Riverdale Avenue, Riverdale, New York 10471
  • Transcripts may also be submitted by guidance counselors via email, to admission.office@mountsaintvincent.edu, or via Common Application
  • Questions? Contact the Office of Admission at (718) 405-3267
• Fill out your Housing Application
• Set up your college email address
  • Go to mountsaintvincent.edu, click top right corner where it says “My CMSV”
  • Select “Email”
  • Your username is your first initial and your last name followed by “.student@mountsaintvincent.edu” (for example, if your name is Vinny Dolphin, your username will be vdolphin.student@mountsaintvincent.edu)
    • If you have a common last name, you may want to confirm your username by typing in your last name on mountsaintvincent.edu/query.php
  • Temporary password is your birth date (MMDDYY)
• Complete a fun and interactive online education course before classes begin—a link will be sent to your Mount email address
