Resident and Commuter Declining Balance Meal Plans

All full-time resident and commuter students are on declining balance meal plans, so students pay only for what they want to eat.

Resident Student Declining Balance Meal Plan

  • Dolphin Dollars are loaded on your CMSV MyCard card in equal installments every three weeks.
  • The week begins on Friday and ends on Thursday.
  • Unused Dolphin Dollars carry over from Fall to Spring semesters.
  • Mandatory 2020-2021 Meal Plan for resident students is $1,900 per semester.
  • A maximum of 50% of unused Dolphin Dollars from one load period can be rolled over to the following load period during the semester.
  • In the event of a campus-wide closure, a portion of the board charges may be refundable.

Resident Student Buy Up Meal Plans #2 and #3
Resident students who desire more dollars to spend on and off campus can purchase Resident Buy Up Meal Plans #2 or #3 in the Office of Student Accounts no later than the last day of the first week of each semester. View the Resident Buy-Up Meal Plans for more information.

Commuter Students Declining Balance Meal Plan

  • Dolphin Dollars are loaded on your CMSV MyCard card at the beginning of each semester.
  • Unused Dolphin Dollars carry over from Fall to Spring semesters.
  • Mandatory 2020-2021 Meal Plan for commuter students is $240 per semester.

My Dollars

  • All Students can add My Dollars to their cards at any time via your MyCard account and by visiting the Office of Student Accounts (Center for Student Services, Founders Hall 223).
  • My Dollars can be spent at Hudson Heights, Mag’s Kitchen, approved off-campus vendors (Skyview Deli, Dunkin’ Donuts, Nona’s Pizza–all located on Riverdale Avenue and Burger King – located on Broadway), the No-Book Store, and on campus printing.
  • My Dollars carry over from semester to semester and year to year as long you are enrolled.
  • Resident Meal Plan #1 includes $40 per semester in My Dollars, downloaded at the start of each semester.
  • The commuter student meal plan includes $10 per semester in My Dollars downloaded at the start of each semester.
