11.6 Vacation 

Full-time regular Staff employees accrue vacation days as follows:

Years of Service	Vacation Entitlement	Accrual
Fewer than 4	10 days	.83 days per month
At least 4, but fewer than 10	15 days	1.25 days per month
At least 10	20 days	1.67 days per month

Staff employees are required to provide at least two weeks’ notice of their resignation. If a Staff employee provides more than the required amount of notice, he/she may, and indeed, is encouraged to, use remaining vacation days between the date notice is provided and the day notice was required (i.e., two weeks prior to the resignation date). However, the Staff employee may not use any vacation days during the last two weeks of employment. Any exception to this policy must be approved in writing by the Vice President for Finance or the President.
