Leadership in fostering the vitality of the College’s academic life shown in:

  1. Consistent participation at meetings and in departmental and College-wide committee work;
  2. An active role in curriculum evaluation and reform;
  3. Awareness of and responsiveness to the needs of the department and its students;
  4. Mentoring of junior faculty;
  5. Grant writing for department or College initiatives;
  6. Academic advisement;
  7. Other service rolls to which he or she has been invited.
