Inorganic Chemistry Tenure-Track Assistant Professor

Job Description
The Division of Natural Sciences at the College of Mount Saint Vincent invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Inorganic Chemistry who may have an interest in, but not limited to, bioinorganic, organometallic, synthesis, environmental and/or materials chemistry to begin in the Fall 2020 semester. Candidates with a Ph.D in Inorganic Chemistry or a closely related field will be considered. Experience in higher education teaching is preferred, but will not preclude consideration.
The Assistant Professor of Chemistry will have the responsibility of teaching inorganic chemistry lecture and lab, analytical chemistry, and non-majors chemistry courses. Faculty research that is possible in a liberal arts college environment is encouraged and expected to be conducted as part of the role of assistant professor. Faculty are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, continued scholarly development, and service to the College.
