Professor Okrosy is the student career programs manager at Hunter College, City University of New York. Previously, he served as coordinator of graduating seniors program/career counselor at Hunter College. He is an adjunct faculty at Mercy College and previously taught at The College of New Rochelle—at both their locations in New Rochelle and Brooklyn, NY. From 2001 to 2007, he was the program coordinator for the Transport Workers Union Local 100/NYCT Training and Upgrading Fund in New York, NY.

Baruch College, City University of New York awarded him the Pi Alpha Alpha Honors for achievements related to his master’s in public administration. He holds certificates in the C.C.P. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory (certified 2007) and the Cornell University Industrial Labor Relations, Labor Studies Certificate Program (2004). Professor Okrosy serves on the advisory board of the Hunter College Academic Center for Excellence in Research and Teaching. He was recently awarded third place for the 2019 CASAC Innovative CUNY Career Services Programs. Additionally, he has presented internationally at various symposia and conferences.
