4.1 Professional Conduct
Professional conduct of employees is necessary for the orderly operations of any institution and for the benefit and protection of the rights and safety of all students and employees. Employees are required to be courteous and considerate in all encounters with students, visitors and fellow employees.
To avoid any appearances of partiality, compromise and/or abuse of power, no College employee may have a romantic or sexual relationship with a current College of Mount Saint Vincent student, even when the relationship is consensual. Such documented behavior will be considered in employment decisions and could lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal, at the sole discretion of the College.
