8.0.1 Complaint Procedures for Handling Complaints Against Faculty, Administrative or Staff Employees

Employees are responsible for respecting the rights of all members of the College Community. If you have experienced sexual misconduct, whether by a supervisor, co-employee, vendor, client, or any other employee or third party with whom you come into contact at the College, promptly report the incident to the appropriate Title IX Deputy Coordinator, who will undertake an investigation. Your complaint will be kept confidential to the maximum extent possible.

Taking into account the wishes of the accuser, the College will pursue disciplinary action in cases of Sexual Misconduct. The College’s disciplinary processes act independently of any legal proceedings. If the College determines that an employee is guilty of Sexual Misconduct, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the offending employee, up to and including termination of employment.

The College prohibits any form of retaliation against any employee for filing a bona fide complaint under this policy or for assisting in a complaint investigation.
