7.1 Resignation

Resignation is the termination of service by voluntary action on the part of the faculty member.

Instructional faculty should make every effort to tender their resignation by March 15 of the academic year, but no later than 30 days after receipt of the new contract. The timely notification of the Department Chair enables the formation of a search committee and enhances the chances of finding a suitable replacement.
