Professor Neuhaus is the infant, early childhood mental health director/clinician at the Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative in Queens, NY, where she manages staffing, personnel, contract fulfillment, budget utilization, services and performance of the Mental Health Program. She has collaborated as part of cross-functional teams to meet the needs of patients in demanding environments.
She is skilled in diagnosing and treating children with multiple symptoms, using a family systems approach. Professor Neuhaus is a supervisor specialist who utilizes child development in art/play-based treatment interventions. She has additional expertise in parent-child issues such as bonding, child development, social-emotional and behavioral issues, and attachment issues. In her work, she develops relationships and collaborates with resources in the community.
